Program Overview:
The Pediatric Cardiology Training Program at Medipol Mega University Hospital offers a two-week observership and clinical training experience for physicians and healthcare professionals who seek to deepen their knowledge in pediatric cardiovascular care.

Participants will observe inpatient and outpatient examinations, ICU patient evaluations, and advanced diagnostic procedures while gaining a strong foundation in the anatomy, physiology, and imaging of congenital and acquired heart diseases in children.

This program emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to contemporary pediatric cardiology practices.

• Assessment of Left Ventricular Systolic and Diastolic Functions
• Right and Left Ventricular Function Analysis
• Valvular Stenosis and Regurgitation Evaluation
• Aortic Valve Assessment (including Continuity Equation Calculations)
• Estimation of Pulmonary Hypertension and Hemodynamic Calculations
• Practical Cardiac Ultrasound Scanning Techniques
• Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) Techniques

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:

• Recognize and evaluate a variety of congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac conditions.
• Develop proficiency in pediatric cardiac imaging techniques and hemodynamic assessments.
• Understand the decision-making process for interventional and non-interventional treatment pathways.
