In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Observership Program

Program Overview:
The In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Training Program at Medipol Mega University Hospital offers a two-week intensive clinical observership and training experience for physicians aiming to strengthen their understanding of assisted reproductive technologies.
Participants will observe the full IVF treatment cycle, from ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval to laboratory fertilization procedures and embryo transfer techniques.
The program focuses on providing practical exposure to patient management and laboratory practices within a high-standard IVF center environment.

Training Content
Clinical and Laboratory Procedures:
- Ovarian Stimulation and Monitoring:
- Selection of individualized treatment protocols based on clinical examination and laboratory findings
- Hormonal stimulation management
- Monitoring egg development through ultrasound and blood testing
- Dose adjustments during treatment
- Oocyte Retrieval (Egg Collection):
- Final egg maturation with trigger injections
- Pre-operative patient preparation and anesthesia procedures
- Sperm collection and surgical sperm retrieval if necessary
- Laboratory Operations:
- Fertilization via Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) or classical IVF methods
- Embryo culture and monitoring over 2 to 5 days
- Selection of the highest quality embryos for transfer (regulations permitting 1–2 embryos based on patient age and history)
- Embryo Transfer:
- Ultrasound-guided embryo transfer
- Pre-transfer preparation (bladder filling protocol)
- Post-transfer patient care, medication instructions, and lifestyle recommendations
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the full IVF cycle management from patient preparation to embryo transfer.
- Observe and interpret monitoring parameters for ovarian stimulation and embryo development.
- Learn key practical aspects of laboratory operations and patient follow-up.

- Training Schedule: Weekdays only (Monday–Friday)
- Training Format: Theoretical sessions combined with Observership training
- Certification: A Certificate of Completion will be issued by Medipol Mega University Hospital
