GASTROENTEROLOGY COURSE

Gastroenterologists, Internal Medicine Residents/Specialists, Endoscopists

This two-week program is designed to provide both theoretical background and clinical observership in the field of gastroenterology. The course covers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, along with an overview of common gastrointestinal diseases and treatment approaches.

Program Content Includes:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures:

• Endoscopy

• Capsule Endoscopy

• Pre- and Post-Endoscopic Controls

• Gastroscopy

• Colonoscopy

• ERCP

• Liver Biopsy

• EUS

• Stomach Balloon

• Stomach Botox

• Patient Examinations

Focus Areas:

• Digestive system disorders (acid reflux disease, heartburn, hemorrhoids, hepatitis, gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcers, hernias)

• Esophageal diseases

• Small and large intestine diseases

• Gallbladder diseases

• Liver diseases

• Pancreatic diseases

• Treatment methods

Additional Information:

• The program includes both theoretical sessions and observership at the hospital.

• Training sessions are held on weekdays only.

• Participants will receive a certificate issued by Medipol University Hospital upon completion.

• Lunch is included and served at the hospital’s dining room.

• Transportation between airport, hotel, and hospital is included.

• Free access to hospital library and Wi-Fi is provided.

• Participants must declare their preferred training dates at least one month in advance.

• Training schedule will be arranged according to trainer availability.
