Program Overview:
The Otolaryngology (ENT) Training Program at Medipol Mega University Hospital offers a 2-week intensive clinical observership designed for medical students, ENT specialists, and physicians seeking practical exposure in the diagnosis, evaluation, and surgical management of head, neck, ear, nose, and throat disorders.

Participants will engage in outpatient and surgical sessions, observing modern ENT practices and surgical interventions under real clinical conditions.

The program provides direct insights into both pediatric and adult ENT cases, offering a focused and structured learning experience.

Clinical and Surgical Focus Areas:

  • Aesthetic Operations: Septo/Rhinoplasty, Double Chin Removal, Prominent Ear Surgery
  • Nasal Endoscopy Procedures
  • Tonsillectomy Surgeries
  • Tympanoplasty (Eardrum and Middle Ear Repair)
  • Stapedectomy (Middle Ear Calcification Surgery)
  • Mastoidectomy
  • Parotid and Submandibular Gland Surgeries
  • Head and Neck Tumor Surgeries
  • Cochlear Implant Surgeries (Bionic Ear Implantation)
  • Brain Stem Implantation Procedures

Program Activities:

  • Outpatient Examinations and Clinical Case Discussions
  • Live Observations in Operating Theatres
  • Interaction with Senior ENT Surgeons and Departmental Rotations

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Observe and understand diagnostic and surgical procedures in ENT practice.
  • Recognize common and complex ENT conditions across different patient groups.
  • Strengthen clinical reasoning and surgical planning skills in otolaryngology.

  • Training Language: English / Turkish
  • Training Schedule: Weekdays only (Monday–Friday)
  • Training Format: Theoretical sessions combined with Observership training
  • Certification: A Certificate of Completion will be issued by Medipol Mega University Hospital
